So far we've conjugated a few verbs in the Greek classes, most of them following a straightforward progression of endings with -ω for first person singular, -εις for second person singular etc. However, sadly not all the verbs follow the same format, so here's a really useful bit of software I came across on the web that will show exactly how virtually any verb with conjugate. Not only that, but for the advanced amoung you, it shows the conjugations in all the different tenses too. And just to really go over the top it does it in any language, not just Greek. So if you need to know how to shout "Go Away!" to the average group of invading Vikings, just look up "fara" (to go) in the Old Norse section of Verbix and the fifth conjugation (you, plural) of the imperative tense (the "telling you to do something" tense) tells you that you need to say, "Þér fariđ!" in the hope that they'll move on to rape and pillage elsewhere!
The screenshot here (click the picture to enlarge) shows you what it looks like for the verb "to write" (γραφω/ΓΡΑΦΟ). The problem with it is that you need to know the infinitive to start with to look up the conjugations so you need to be armed with a dictionary to, and have some idea what the different tenses mean. But for now just stick to the first (present) tense and it's quite useful. It can be downloaded from this site:
