Another word that's useful in the Taverna is the verb "to have". For example "Έχετε ενα τραπέζι για τρεις;" (ΈΧΕΤΕ ΕΝΑ ΤΡΑΠΕΖΙ ΓΙΑ ΤΡΕΙΣ;) means "Do you have a table for 3?" or "τι έχετε τυρία;" (ΤΙ ΕΧΕΤΕ ΤΥΡΙΑ;) would mean "what cheeses do you have?". The waiter may also use the same verb to reply - "Έχουμε" (ΈΧΟΥΜΕ) meaning "We Have". So the verb "to have" is another key verb that is very useful to know with it's various endings:
ΕΧΩέχωI have
ΕΧΕΙΣέχειςYou have
ΕΧΕΙέχειHe/She/It has
ΕΧΟΥΜΕέχουμεWe have
ΕΧΕΤΕέχετεYou have
ΕΧΟΥΝέχουνThey have
